This letter will serve to confirm that Person Directing Work directed us to do Work to Perform which was not called for by our original contract with you and thus is extra work for which we are entitled to additional compensation and a commensurate extension of time. We are performing this extra work with the understanding that we will be paid all additional costs incurred and will receive a commensurate extension of contract time.
