This calculations is based on NEC 220-30 (1999 Edition) and only applies to residential services
where the following conditions are met:
- Ampacity must be greater than 100 amps
- Single phase, 3-wire service only.
- Heating and cooling done locally and not centrally.
- No Electric Space Heating.
